Treatments are tailored to suit
each individual’s requirements.
Rather than a '1 size fits all' approach to massage, Jennifer generally incorporates a mixture of the following techniques into each treatment so that each client gets an unique treatment depending on their individual requirements. The first appointment will include a detailed consultation and assessment if necessary, therefore at least a 1 hour appointment is required. If you are unfamiliar with what a massage treatment involves, and have any concerns, please go to 'What To Expect' which will hopefully put you at ease. Or feel free to contact Jennifer for a no obligation chat.
Jennifer has taken specialist training in Pregnancy Massage - follow the link to find out more.
Remedial Massage
This deep tissue treatment incorporates detailed assessments of any area of pain or restriction, allowing the treatment to focus on specific problems. Remedial massage involves the use of advanced techniques to produce a change in the soft tissue which promotes the body's own healing processes. This type of massage is most beneficial for people looking for relief from soft tissue injury and repetitive strain conditions.
Swedish Massage
Uses flowing strokes to relax the client, whilst still easing muscle stiffness. It doesn’t work as deeply as remedial massage on problem areas but is nonetheless a highly beneficial type of treatment.
‘No Hands’ Massage
One of the latest styles of massage to be introduced into the UK with relatively few practitioners currently trained in it. Instead of relying on the practitioner’s hands, this treatment uses forearms and elbows as well. Experience for yourself the unique massage this offers, a deep and extremely beneficial, yet less painful treatment than other deep tissue massages can be.
Indian Head Massage
This treatment focuses on head, neck, shoulders and face, and can be performed through clothes or with just the shoulders exposed. This can either be a quick ‘pick-me-up’ of 15 - 30 minutes or as a full 45 minute treatment. It is a very relaxing form of massage focusing on areas where tension is often stored. (Only available at Synergy)
Another therapy on offer is Reiki, click to find out more about this wonderful treatment (only available at Fife clinics).

Gift vouchers are also available, why not introduce someone to the benefits of massage! See ‘Special Offers’ for details of block booking and refer-a-friend deals.
